During an in-home visit we discuss the goals and fundamentals of your project, assess your space, and take measurements and photos. This is our opportunity to gain an understanding of your vision for the project.
After carefully considering your needs and goals we begin to imagine possibilities for your space. Our preliminary vision is captured on mood boards. From there, we determine together the direction we’ll go.
You will be presented with a minimum of two schematics and two design options. Together we will determine the best way forward.
During this phase we will begin ordering selected items and materials and proceed with executing the design plan.

We hired Karrie in January 2021 after relocating to southern Washington. Initially she worked with us to create a color palette for the entire interior of our 2400 sq. ft. home. This included 13 different coordinating colors and turned out wonderful! It became the basis for the entire design.
Our first major focus has been the living room. With her help and expert design advice, we selected a stunning rug, sofa, pillows, coffee and occasional tables, art and decorative objects. The room is amazing and fits us perfectly!

Karrie has an amazing eye for design, most interior designers do, but this isn’t exactly why we chose her. Her ability to listen to our needs, what we like and what we don’t, what is practical for our lifestyle and what fits in our budget was why she was our first choice. When we met with other designers, we felt like they had an idea already in mind and that was frustrating to us. We also felt pressured to move forward with certain brands the designer was clearly getting paid “extra” to sell. We didn’t get any of that from Karrie.
Karrie literally told us from day one that we would lead and she would support us with ideas and tips on how to make OUR vision a reality. When I got stuck, Karrie was there with many options and visuals to help me move forward.
She is the best of the best and fairest priced too. We designed during Covid which meant more communication was needed with the vendors, and she took care of it all, letting us know where our furniture and art was and when it would be delivered.
She even had someone to place the art on the walls and deliver the furniture (they wore booties and were extremely professional and valued our space), which is refreshing. After Karrie was done, I cried! I finally felt like my home was a representation of my family and our personalities!!! This skill is not “in me”, so having someone to lead me through the process was priceless.
I was so fortunate to learn about Karrie’s interior design skills through a mutual friend. We had recently moved into a beautiful contemporary home. I’ve been a devotee to traditional style homes and interiors all my life, so I knew combining the home’s contemporary style and my traditional style would be challenging for me.
That’s where Karrie came in. She came to our home and took time to listen to our desire to create an inviting family room environment with plenty of comfortable seating. We discussed which existing furnishings to keep and potential new pieces that would bring the styles together. We also discussed our budget for the project to ensure we were on the same page.
Once Karrie knew our desires, in no time, she had put together some options to choose from. Together we chose beautiful rugs, furnishings, fabrics, and lighting that would create a fabulous mix of contemporary and traditional style – all pieces that I could never have found on my own nor would I have thought to put them together.
Once we decided on furnishings and wall color for the family room, we decided to go ahead and redecorate the office as well. Karrie immediately went to work and found beautiful shelving, a sleek desk, lamps, and a comfy chair and ottoman to make what had been a dull, uninteresting home office into a warm, cozy study.
On installation day, Karrie asked me to stay in another room while her team put all the furnishings and accessories were put into place. We were absolutely thrilled with the result. The rugs, custom furnishings, fabrics, lamps and accessories are so beautiful. We just love our new family room and office. We are so pleased with Karrie’s professionalism, experience and skill – and she’s great fun to work with! She helped us make this home ours.

My husband and I recently started a major remodel. As we got into construction, we realized we were in over our heads with design decisions. Another designer recommended Karrie and it’s turned out to be one of the best decisions of the project.
By the time we met with Karrie, we had decided on the color of the cabinets and counter tops. We needed help with paint color, floor stain, lighting and accessories to pull it all together. By talking with us and asking questions, Karrie was able to determine our style and make suggestions as to what would work for us. We then began sending lots of links for different console tables, lighting and chandeliers. She was very patient and went through them all for us. Then she should us which ones would work best to pull everything together for us. The remodel has been very challenging but Karrie’s help has definitely helped reduce the stress level.
